Building on the Trusted Connections: Where Digital Skills Meet Community project, the event invites participants to reflect on how access, digital literacies, community support and trust can enable more equitable participation in digital life. The symposium is inspired by Durham University Chancellor’s, Dr Fiona Hill, idea of “infrastructures of opportunity”, asking how regional partnerships, community networks and academia can work together to address longstanding inequalities and create sustainable pathways for inclusion across the North East.
